In order to properly demonstrate the framerate and resolution we achieve in Shadow Fall’s multiplayer, we’ve captured and lightly compressed new footage that we’re not offering through a video sharing service. Unfortunately, there are limitations to streamed video on the internet, and many of the clips and trailers we’ve released thus far aren’t being viewed in the best possible fidelity and framerate. It's a complex game, and one that may leave newer players stumped.Killzone Shadow Fall has been built from the ground up for PS4, and the response to the gameplay footage so far has been overwhelmingly positive. As a first person shooter, you'll need to be able to handle dual analogue controls, as well, with the left stick moving your character around, while the right stick handles the view.
The game's checkpointing system could also cause problems for some players, as the checkpoints are so far apart, quitting a level sometimes means the next time you come to play, you'll have to start from the very beginning - and when the levels take an hour and a half to get through, that can be frustrating. For starters, text in the interface is incredibly small, with important text relayed in tiny fonts, which many may struggle to read on anything other than large monitors.
However, Killzone Shadow Fall has a lot that players may struggle to get to grips with. At the touch of a button, your OWL can become a shield, a mobile turret, or a computer hacker, helping level the playing field in many of the game's fights. What follows is a fairly standard first person shooter, that mixes a reliance on cover and stealth with the use of a sci-fi robot friend, known as OWL.
